Every entrepreneur’s journey has its bumps in the road. For me, a minor car accident right after Thanksgiving left me with a bad sprain on my dominant shoulder. That unexpected setback took me off the grid for nearly two months. But every challenge brings new lessons, and this time was no different.

Learning the Importance of a Strong Team

Being out of work for two months made one thing clear—I couldn’t afford to rely on just myself. I lost a lot of money during that time, and it forced me to rethink how I operate. I’ve worked with guys in the summer before, but this setback pushed me to take hiring more seriously. As a result, I brought on four contractors to ensure that Riticulous can keep running, even when I can’t be hands-on every day. Now, I see exactly what I need to do to scale and grow the business the right way.

Investing in the Future

Over the past few years—and especially since the pandemic—I’ve invested thousands in coaching, refining my skills, and expanding my knowledge of the auto detailing craft. Through the IVP program, I’ve crafted a plan that’s ready to launch, provided I secure a head start in funding. While I’ve faced challenges with credit history and debt, I’m actively taking steps toward financial freedom and steady growth.

Eyes on the Big Picture

My vision for Riticulous is clear: to become the best detailing company on the planet and eventually scale to $25M per year. The next phase of our journey includes:

• Investing in a Dedicated Garage: Creating a professional space to bring our services to the next level.
• Expanding Our Team: Hiring dedicated employees to complement my four subcontractors and streamline operations.
• Exploring New Ventures: With plans to introduce vehicle tinting, I’m eager to learn from the best—whether that’s through YouTube or reputable training programs.

Embracing a New Chapter

I’m now fully healed, with my energy back in full boss mode. Although there’s a forecast of rain in the coming week that might delay some efforts, I’m more determined than ever to network, travel, and continuously hone my craft. I’m grateful to be catching up on bills and moving steadily toward the future I envision.
